Working conditions and recreational activities at livestock facilities of the system of district procurement points

In the agro-industrial complex of the meat sector, along with fattening state farms and meat-processing enterprises, an important role belongs to the intermediate link - regional procurement offices. Their role in purchasing livestock and pigs from the population and supplying it to meat processing plants will increase in the coming years in connection with the policy of the Party and the government to expand individual farms and increase the number of farm animals in personal ownership.
Meanwhile, hygienists have not yet paid due attention to this important and necessary link in the agro-industrial complex.
The study of the technological process at a number of regional zagotkontors in the Kiev region indicates that, as a rule, they are located not in standard buildings, but in poorly equipped and unsuitable buildings.
The data obtained indicate that the sanitary-epidemiological services should pay more attention to the improvement of working conditions in the regional zagot offices, to establish a systematic current sanitary supervision of these facilities.
The complex of recreational measures should include: introduction and development of small-scale mechanization tools for the preparation and distribution of feed; the widespread establishment of autodrinkers; replacement of manure collectors with belt conveyors with timely removal of manure to the fields; equipment of warm household premises with good water supply; centralized washing of workwear and allocation of premises for its storage; improvement of the ventilation system; wet cleaning of premises; timely medical examination of workers.
