The article presents the occupational morbidity in Ukraine over the past 10 years, provides an analysis of the main reasons for the formation, outlines the ways to preserve the professional health of the population. Attention is drawn to the fact that a decrease in the level of occupational morbidity cannot serve as a criterion for the effective work of an occupational pathological service institution. Only early detection of patients with occupational pathology, their rational employment, timely treatment and rehabilitation give grounds to count on the preservation of the health of workers in hazardous working conditions.
