A fairly complete and reliable assessment of the professional performance of women can be obtained with a comprehensive account of the functional state of the body, the quantity and quality of labor results, family and household load, etc.
We present the results of an assessment of the professional performance of collective farmers, carried out in accordance with the "Methodology for assessing the professional performance of women beet breeders and livestock breeders on the basis of physiological and production and economic indicators", developed at the Kiev Institute of Occupational Health and Occupational Diseases [1].
The results obtained clearly indicate the need for a differentiated approach when addressing the issues of optimizing working conditions, maintaining health, high labor activity of women, taking into account their profession and age. An integral assessment of professional performance, which, if possible, takes into account in full the diversity of its defining moments, contributes to the purposeful solution of these problems in a specific production.
To ensure high professional performance of rural workers, physiological and hygienic optimization of work, an increase in moral and material interest in the results of their work, and the provision of effective therapeutic and preventive control over their health are necessary.
