Changes in the morphological picture of peripheral blood are often accompanied by many poisonings. They can be a consequence of the specific effect of poisons on the blood and hematopoietic organs and a nonspecific manifestation of regulatory processes or adaptive reactions of the body [1, 2, 3]. A number of authors point out that changes in the blood, arising under the influence of methemoglobin-formers, should be considered as specific. It is also noted that the development of anemia, an increase in the content of methemoglobin in the blood, the formation of Heinz corpuscles and other morphological disorders of erythrocytes are characteristic of methemoglobin-formers [4].
Taking into account that a number of amine derivatives are characterized by an anemic effect, we studied the effect on the blood picture of salts of amines of the polymethylene series and carboxylic acid used in the national economy as metal corrosion inhibitors.
The method of acidic erythrograms revealed abnormalities in the erythrocyte composition of the blood in the earliest periods of exposure to substances on the body, and therefore this test can be considered an early diagnostic.
For methemoglobin-formers, blood levels of methemoglobin, reticulocytes, erythrocytes, and hemoglobin can also serve as early diagnostic indicators.
Thus, salts of polymethylene series amines and carboxylic acid affect the erythrocyte composition of peripheral blood, which is manifested by a change in the acid resistance of erythrocytes, the number of erythrocytes, reticulocytes and hemoglobin. These substances are mtemoglobin-formers. When carrying out medical examinations of those working with metal corrosion inhibitors - salts of amines of the nolp methylene series and carboxylic acid, the following indicators can be used as diagnostic tests: the content of methemoglobin (when working with salts of amines of the polymethylene series), acid resistance of erythrocytes, the number of erythrocytes, reticulocytes and hemoglobin ...
