The mathematical analysis of the heart rate is covered in a large number of works in which attempts are made to find the characteristics of the series of interpulse intervals that can reveal the features of the regulation of the heart rate during labor processes with varying degrees of severity and tension [1, 3, 6]. However, data on the regulation of the heart rate in young people are few in number, despite the fact that such a research plan is of interest in connection with the physiological characteristics of adolescence. Some decrease in the lability of the heart rate in children with increasing age was noted. In adolescents of senior school age, the variability of the I – I intervals is less than in children of primary school age [5].

We studied the features of the regulation of the heart rate in practically healthy adolescents of 17-18 years of age during independent work on a tractor during industrial practice while training in rural vocational schools of tractor drivers-machinists of a wide profile. The adolescents' work consisted of driving a tractor for 6 hours with 10-minute breaks after each hour and an hour-long lunch break in a production experiment at a specially equipped training ground. The operating mode was proposed by SA Pigolev et al. [4]. According to the classification developed by the employees of the Research Institute of Occupational Hygiene and Occupational Diseases of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, this work, in terms of severity and tension, should be detached to the II-III degree for adults. The adolescents were exposed to combined exposure to noise, vibration, and heat, slightly above the safety limits.

The revealed features of the heart rate can be used to characterize the tension of the labor process of adolescents. Based on the results obtained, recommendations were developed for hygienic measures to reduce noise and high air temperature as factors that determine the additional stress of the cardiovascular system. It is recommended to use antiphones, start the working day at 7.30 am, take a break for lunch and rest from 11 am to 4 pm, continue working from 4 pm to 7.30 pm to avoid the hottest time of the day.
