This paper presents the results of an ophthalmo-ergonomic study of one of the types of work associated with high visual stress - the work of correctors. The study of this profession is of interest to researchers, since it is a model of visually strenuous work in industrial conditions, which are characterized by the absence of the harmful influence of other unfavorable factors.
We have studied the working conditions, the nature of workloads and work activities of correctors, production indicators of their performance, the state of the visual function.
Thus, the work of proofreaders requires physiological and hygienic rationalization. First of all, rational lighting, proper organization of the workplace, appropriate work and rest regimes, medical supervision, etc. are needed.
The most rational is the use of general lighting using lamps such as AOD or SHOD, scattered light with fluorescent lamps HB and BS. Can I come
To improve the distribution of brightness in the field of view, walls and equipment should be painted in light colors with a high reflection coefficient - 0.5, and the ceiling - with a coefficient of 0.65.
Twice a year (in autumn and spring) instillations of ascorbic acid, B vitamins, vitamin A are shown. Every day, in the middle of the 1st and 2nd half of the working day, you should do gymnastics (general and for the eyes), massage the neck muscles. After every hour of work, a regulated break (5 minutes) is laid, during which it is recommended to perform special exercises for the eyes. Before the start of the working day, training with plus and minus lenses is shown. Rational lighting is of great importance. An ophthalmologic examination should be carried out once a year for optimal vision correction.
