In recent years, in a number of regions of our country, the problem of attracting elderly people to feasible work has become urgent. Now 34% of the total number of pensioners are employed in social production. In regions with an acute shortage of labor resources, the task has been set to increase the number of elderly people employed in public production to at least 40% [2].
However, despite the moral and material incentives, the number of working pensioners is growing very slowly. It was noted that 30-50% of non-working pensioners would like to work on preferential terms. The creation of such conditions, including the provision of older people with work in accordance with individual abilities and capabilities, is authorized by directive documents [5].
The main reason for the termination of work by pensioners is the deterioration of their health. Consequently, their involvement in social work will increasingly be associated with a medical examination of their ability to work and medical management of the processes of employment, labor rehabilitation, work itself and the conditions in which it takes place.
It has been determined that due to functional overload approximately 1.5 times, pensioners will be able, if necessary, to increase production per shift to 65% of the level of young workers.
Physiological regulation and rationalization of work of elderly people will allow to extend their working period, keep them healthy and increase their contribution to the national income of the country.
