The prevention and elimination of the impact of unfavorable factors of pollution, the environment, and the provision of optimal living conditions and human activities have become the subject of deep interest and serious concern on the part of the general public. IN CONNECTION With the fact that at present the problem of agricultural intensification is acquiring a special meaning, there is a need to develop fundamentally new approaches to solving occupational health issues when using pesticides. The combination of these problems is the basis for the development and further improvement of methods for analyzing the microcode and values of these toxic substances in various objects of the environment and in the human body.

The object of close attention, in particular, is the air environment surrounding a person - the air of the working area and atmospheric air, since they are one of the main sources of exposure to harmful substances on the human body and warm-blooded animals. One of the WHO documents emphasizes that measuring the concentration of a pollutant in the air is an important step in the study of its potentially harmful effects on the human body.

The reliability and accuracy of determining the concentration of toxic substances largely depends on the sampling method. At the same time, special difficulties are associated with taking samples of air containing gaseous fractions of pesticides.

In the course of searching for opportunities to increase the efficiency of sampling pesticide vapors of various chemical nature with flexible polyurethane foam, it was found that the application of various modifier liquids to this sorbent is one of the solutions to the problem.

The results of the research are recommended for use in the development of methods for the determination of pesticides of various chemical nature in the air.
