At present, there is no doubt that one of the reasons leading to the development of coronary heart disease (IHD) is the impact of various occupational hazards [1,6].
We examined 456 male workers from three professional groups. The first group consisted of 136 workers of the radio engineering industry, exposed to the action of lead aerosols in low concentrations (up to 2 MPC). The second group consisted of 165 workers in the hot shops of glass factories, the main harmful occupational factors for which were the heating microclimate (25-40 ° C) and industrial noise (86-97 dB A). The third group consisted of 155 workers of similar workshops of the art glass factory, exposed in the process of work to the above factors, as well as lead aerosols (2-6 MPC).
Comparing our data with those published in the literature [1-4], it is important to note that in no case did the frequency of IHD even approach that under the combined effect of lead aerosols, heating the microclimate and noise.
Studies have shown that the combination of a heating microclimate, intense noise, and lead aerosols has an adverse effect on workers, contributing to a significant prevalence and early development of cardiovascular pathology, and is a risk factor for the development of coronary artery disease.
